He knocked four times, opened the door and found her sitting in her bed, facing the window. It was a beautiful day. Her bloody-colored hair against the sunshine looked beautiful. He always admired her beauty. Despite the good weather, there was coldness between them. The room was filled with silence. He entered her room and locked the door.


“Love?”, he called out gently.

There was still silence. He walked up to her slowly feeling a weight in his heart. As he reached her bed, he sat down next to her. She was hugging her legs and he heard her sniff. His heart ached a bit. He knew she was crying. He looked at her, but she didn’t look back. Her face was red and he immediately knew that she has been crying for quite a while.

“Love… I’m sorry…”, he said softly.

She cried even harder. Her tears were flowing like a river. His heart broke. The love of his life crying in front of him was just too much to bear.

“Love…”, his voice breaking.

She didn’t say anything. Instead, she just kept on crying.

“Love, I’m sorry…” His eyes burned as he hugged her tightly. “I’m sorry if I made you cry this much. It breaks my heart to see and hear you like this. I really am sorry, love. Please forgive me.” His voice was filled with sincerity.

“I’m sorry…”, he said, nearly whispering and kissed her forehead.

She felt safe in his arms. She felt secured. Knowing that she’s in his arms made her calm down. Deep down her heart, she has already forgiven him even before he had the chance to apologize.

“Look at me, love…”, he raised her chin. She had those hazel, puppy eyes which he fell in love with. Her face was still red but her beauty never faded. He was looking at the girl that he would spend forever with. After few seconds of deep thought, he kissed her gently on the lips. She closed her eyes and responded to his sweet kiss.

The coldness faded away and they felt warm in each others’ arms. She opened her eyes and he wiped her tears.

“I love you, baby love.”, he said with a warm smile.

“I love you more, babe.”, she replied in a lovely tone. She then curled in his arms as what she loves to do.
